Be Better, and Better, and Better

Today was not only the hectic one, but also a special one.

First, it was my schedule at Cibadak.

Second, I had to bathe three times a day!

One, it was my routine, of course.

Two, I got soaked on the way home from Cibadak since it was raining.

Three, before going to Cibadak I got 'watered' by my LOVELY students.

Thanks to them, I felt so clean today, haha..

Actually, yesterday was my birthday (would you sing a song for me?).

My students remembered this and planned to 'congratulate' me.

At first, they were so sweet.

They gave a cake, a congratulating card, and we were taking pictures together.

Then suddenly, one of them - Citra - got an idea to 'clean' me using handsoap water.

How cute (read the opposite please)!

Text Genre (Part 1)

Final examination is slowly approaching.
At this time, all my students get stressed, not only because of the exam, but also they got a lot of homework from school.
They also have to prepare for practice exam, especially for English subject, which they have to write a discussion text and present it in front of their teachers and friends.
Because of this, I become a 'victim' for being forced to give them different themes for their texts.
Even worse, some of them irresponsibly asked me to write them a text.
Are they aware that I'm not 'google' or 'wikipedia'?
Who's the one that suppose to learn here?
Who's the one who get a score from practice exam?

However, because of this, I also forced myself to open my college books (after a long time).
I wanna learn more about text genre.
Suddenly, I have a thought, teaching is giving you more opportunities to study than studying itself.
I mean, I hardly had a will to study when I was a student, but I forcibly study when I'm a teacher now.

So, there are twelve genres of text in English lesson, but I'll tell you about Discussion text.
Discussion is a text where we discuss a problem or a case by giving two points of view, pros and contras (teks yang mendiskusikan suatu masalah atau kasus dengan menyajikan dua sudut pandang, yaitu pro dan kontra).
Discussion text has four structures:
1. Issue (a problem which will be discussed)
2. Arguments for (pro opinion)
3. Arguments against (contra opinion)
4. Conclusion

So, the point of writing a discussion text is you have to present the opinions in two views, pros and contras.
That's the characteristic of discussion texts.

Duty is duty, Lazy is lazy

It's already 11 a.m.

I haven't finished my works, and I haven't planned to do it yet.

Hohoho..

It's such a waste to work on Sunday, isn't it?

My works are not difficult to at all.

Just typing some documents and printing it.

But it feels like doing a big job since it's Sunday.

Hehe.

I am now a supervisor teacher in a course.

I've to handle 7 classes for now, and it can getting more.

I don't know why I'm trusted to handle such a big portion as I'm new there.

Honestly, it's like a burden to me.

Moreover, 3 of the classes are the executive ones which I have to pay attention more than others.

I always try to enjoy it, but sometimes I'm tired too.

People around me always said that it's nothing at all to be compared to others' job.

*Others* here are the professional ones, the seniors, so please don't compare me to them.

Because I'm nothing to be compared to them.

Yeah, it's no use to talk about it behind them.

Hm, it's better to play games right know #devilmode.

Woah, looooong time no see.

I was so busy at work.

Since I have a spare time now, I'm able to see you again, my bloggie.

Time flies so fast, and it's Ramadhan already.

There's a *big* difference from Ramadhan last years.

For almost 4 years, I've been spending Ramadhan with you.

Now, we've already gone to our separate ways, pursue our dreams, which are going to only one destination.

Be patient, always, for that time.

I can endure it since I know that we are going to be together one time.

And I hope *that time* will be arrived soon in front of us.
